Yes, I also commented on that same thing here where he gave a surprised look there like he was saying "why am I singing this song about green being so bad?!" where it looked like there that he started to like the color green.

That's true. Kermit did look sad but at 0:55, Kermit gave a surprised look like he was saying "what am I singing this song about green being so bad?!" where after he gave that look, he then started singing how great it is that he is the color green.

The reason why Kermit is not on Sesame Street anymore is because, in the year 2001, the studio that produced Sesame Street which is called "Sesame Workshop" (it used to be called the "Children's Television Workshop) lost the right on Kermit, so they took him off Sesame Street.

This makes me remember the great senator Harry Reid when he referred to Kermit as a gifted muppet who was a green-skinned Amphibian-American "with no Frog dialect, unless he wanted to have one."

Kermit is a Jim Henson creation, and is used in most of Jim Henson's shows. Sesame Street and the Muppet Show are both Jim Henson's works.

Kermit - as well as Rowlf - pre-date both Sesame Street and the Muppet Show by many many years. Look for things like Rowlf on the Jimmy Dean show and early Jim Henson stuff.

Kermit was actually a regular on Sesame Street for years and was on the show sometime prior to the Muppet Show.
